After reading almost 900 submissions from across the world, ten short stories have been selected for the 2023 Author of Tomorrow shortlist across the three age categories.
11 and Under | 500 words or less | Prize: £100 for the writer, plus £150 in book tokens for their school, library or charity of choice
12-15 years | 1500-5000 words | Prize: £100 for the writer, plus £150 in book tokens for their school, library or charity of choice
16-21 years | 1500-5000 words | Prize: £1,000 for the writer
